Service Description
First aid for serious injuries – treating bleeding and wounds correctly (4 hours) A moment of carelessness – and it happens: a deep cut from a circular saw, a bleeding wound from an axe accident in the garden or a ruptured artery after a fall from a mountain bike. Severe bleeding is life-threatening, but with the right knowledge and quick action, you can prevent worse from happening. In our practical first aid course, you will learn how to effectively care for yourself and others until professional help arrives. What you will learn: ✅ Recognising and stopping life-threatening bleeding ✅ Correct use of tourniquets ✅ First aid for deep cuts and stab wounds ✅ Acting safely and calmly in stressful situations Who is this course suitable for? 🔹 DIY enthusiasts & hobby craftsmen (e.g. working with circular saws, angle grinders) 🔹 Garden owners & forestry workers (e.g. handling chainsaws, axes) 🔹 Athletes & outdoor enthusiasts (mountain bikers, archers, climbers) 🔹 Parents & families for greater safety in the home Why take this course? Serious injuries often happen when you least expect them – whether at home, while doing DIY or playing sport. Knowing how to react quickly and correctly in these moments can save lives and prevent permanent damage. The focus is on the use of professional aids such as pressure bandages, tourniquets and wound dressings to control bleeding. Under the guidance of experienced trainers, you will practise the safe use of these techniques to save lives in critical situations. Booking Policy Thank you for your booking! To ensure a smooth process, please follow the guidelines below: Cancellations: Cancellations are free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment. For cancellations made less than 72 hours before the appointment, we reserve the right to charge a 70% cancellation fee. Rescheduling: Rescheduling is only available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact us in a timely manner if you need to change your appointment. Rescheduling requests will be reviewed individually, and additional fees may apply depending on the circumstances. We recommend making changes or cancellations as early as possible to allow flexibility for both you and us. Thank you for your understanding!
